I don't think I realized until right now that your new book was available. It must have come out when I was too depressed to read my emails and was just deleting them and also was not reading the news so I wouldn't lie down in the road. I will search it out now.

I really am very pleased to have found a journalist who has the same worldview and way of articulation. I must confess, that just catching a few bits on twitter (which I'm now suspended from, thanks a lot, Rush Limbaugh!) I didn't think too much was great, until the long form, where, from the first paragraph, I was hooked. Hellworld is the only thing I pay to subscribe to, cos I'm either tight, or really picky. (Looking around at all the Synths & comic book related nonsensical crap, it must be the latter.) I honestly don't think there's a better journalist out there. At least not for me. I don't write nearly as well, but I likewise dug greatly finding someone reduced to spluttering rage and runon sentences by how one injustice reminds you of the other one you hadn't thought about in a month, and the one you hadn't thought about in a year, and how you forgot this is all due to some shit we did 20 years ago or 30 years ago and just keep on doing...
Anyway, anyone who acts like getting emotional in an argument is disqualifying (usually someone on the left arguing for less of what they spent 4 years scolding you was 'hanging in the balance') can be turned around and attacked as a bloodless vampire too chickenshit to say what they mean. They won't give an inch, but they never engaged you in the first place to have *their* minds changed.
