One more 'paternity leave' story. My spouse is a teacher, and has been since the late '80s. When we decided to have a child we scheduled its birth around the school year. I impregnated her in October so she could give birth in June, right after school was out. Bammo! It worked. My son even cooperated by being born on a Sunday. I was back at work on Monday, my wife was back at work on the first day of Fall term. Zero days taken by either of us. Of course, zero days were available in the mid-90s!
