I once heard it called..." Baby in the well" syndrome. Everybody up in a panic, headlines everywhere, when the kids falls down a well, then two days later the BIG story disappears from the news. Same here. A couple of years ago every other article was about addiction, photos of needles, pills spilling from bottles, then it just disappeared, like the problem was over and done with. Pass the peas...
