'Get help' is one of the most common and unpleasant of Twitter burns. Not only is it intended as an insult (the person telling you to get help really doesn't give a shit whether or not you need or get help), but it assumes you're not already getting help. Or, hey...perhaps the sociopath offering the 'get help' non-advice is really the one who needs 'help'?
You’ve heard this before no doubt, but reading your pieces is a bit like the scene of an accident: can’t look away but hate to stare, knowing none of the view is good.
The interview particularly is distressing even as it supports everything we already know and more, leading us all to the precipice of our own devise.
Have you read The Molecule of More?
There’s quite a chapter about the American outlook and how we got here. How we’re more prone to psychological/personality disorders because of this one particular aberrant gene mutation. Forgot which chapter, but what a perspective…go look.
Thanks for writing, Luke. It's a bummer read but contemporary American life is pretty shitty so can't blame you for that.
I gotta do a silly one soon to relieve the tension!

Aniana! I reviewed it when it came out. Good movie! And if you disagree, GET HELP! Here's my review if you have a spare three minutes: https://www.berkeleyside.org/2019/05/16/big-screen-berkeley-aniara
Nice review. Gotta check out Last Sunrise now
