thanks for this. i can't help but notice the herald called that one piece of shit a "retired veteran" of the police department. it is always remarkable to consider who gets to be referred to as a veteran. the language our country uses to prop up our mythology around the police/military is staggering and it is everywhere. it is always used to obscure monstrous behavior. that guy is not a retired veteran any more than ted bundy was a 12 year retired veteran of a drug store, or whatever the hell job he had. whitey bulger was not a retired 60 year veteran of some medford liquor store, or whatever shit he pretended to do during the day. that BPD trash is just a child molester who used to have a job, rather than a child molester who currently has a job.

The thing about entitlement mixed with putting people in positions of power over human life and death, is that when it Allows for evil so as to make it indecipherable, the crimes may seemingly not exist to the perpetrators. But the stain and the stench on a country and its military emissaries is permanent. If we could only stop doing it again and again and again.
